Description

A set of 3 armchairs from the “1312” set, produced by Słupskie Fabryki Mebli in the 1960s, are an excellent example of the aesthetics of mid century modern.
The set includes two armchairs designed for the lounge zone, with a wide and low seat. Armchair with armrests, which has a shorter backrest and a higher seat, intended for the formal part of the room, ideal for working at a desk.
The set has been renovated – it has new upholstery fabric, and the wooden elements have received a new finish.
The choice of black upholstery fabric emphasises the geometricity of the design and harmonies with the original colour of the furniture legs.
Although the set is large and heavy, the designer took care to balance the proportions, which results in a light and graceful form, constituting an excellent element of both the lounge zone and the formal area.
