A modular sofa designed by Eberhard Geißler, produced at the Oelsa Furniture Factory in Rabenau, East Germany, in 1978.
Originally designed as part of a modular seating system, this sofa consists of two connected units, joined together with butterfly screws to form a cohesive piece.

The structure is made from upholstery foam, wooden boards, and solid wood, with the seat supported by webbing and wave springs for added comfort and durability.
The sofa is upholstered in a soft fabric in a rich deep purple hue, characteristic of the bold and expressive color choices of the era.

This piece reflects the innovative and adaptable spirit of 1970s design, where functionality and flexibility were central to everyday living.
