Description

Vintage Dining Chairs, Zamojskie Fabryki Mebli, Poland, 1960s, Set Of 4

A set of four vintage upholstered dining chairs (type 5912), manufactured in the 1960s by Zamojskie Fabryki Mebli (Poland), representative of Polish post-war modernism.
The design of the type 5912 chair features an exceptionally solid joinery construction that maintains a visually lightweight silhouette despite its durability. The frame is crafted from beechwood with a warm brown finish.
The gently rounded seats have been newly upholstered in a textured bouclé fabric in subtle shades of beige and orange. The overall design is completed by legs with a round cross-section, delicately tapering towards the bottom.
The set has undergone a comprehensive woodworking and upholstery restoration, including the refinement of the wooden elements and a complete replacement of the foam padding and upholstery fabric.
