Pair of 360 armchairs by Janusz Różański, Poland, 1960’s

PRICE ON REQUEST

Description

A pair of “360” armchairs, designed by Janusz Różański in 1959, produced by the Dolnośląska Fabryka Mebli – Świebodzin in the 1960s.

The armchairs have been restored, with metal components re-chromed and armrests covered with walnut veneer in line with the original design.
The soft padding of the seat has been replaced, while the original springs have been retained, and reupholstered in Kvadrat cotton boucle fabric.
Notable is the variety of materials and techniques used in their production.
The “360” model is a testament to an era when mass production began to dominate, yet high-quality furniture still stood out for its careful design and craftsmanship.
Upon request, we offer an option to change the upholstery fabric from the Kvadrat catalog.
