Sideboard Type 1050 “Bristol,” manufactured by Czerska Fabryka Mebli in Poland in 1969, showcases a strong Scandinavian design influence, evident in its shape and color, as well as details like the round handles on sliding doors and the contoured bottom edge of the drawers. The choice of materials also sets it apart from most storage furniture produced in the Polish People’s Republic (PRL), with an oak-veneered chest resting on solid oak legs. Model “Bristol” was primarily produced for export, making it a rare piece in Polish homes.
