Space Age Cone Armchair, Germany, 1970s

Description

An cone armchair manufactured in Germany in the 1970s, representative of the Space Age design era.

The piece features a geometric, conical seat shell with a central opening at the bottom, set on a metal trumpet base.
The upholstery has a two-tone design: the interior of the seat is covered in a navy blue bouclé fabric, while the exterior is finished in gray boucle fabric.
The connection between the seat and the metal leg is formed by a contoured blue structural element, secured to the seat with bolts.
The object has undergone a full restoration, including the replacement of the filling and upholstery, as well as the refreshing of the metal structural components.
