This sideboard was manufactured by the Spółdzielnia Pracy Wyrobów Meblarskich in Olesno Śląskie in the 1970s
The case, drawers, and sliding doors are finished in walnut veneer with a striking, symmetrical grain pattern
Black contrasting handles and legs give the piece a bold, graphic character
A black decorative strip crowns the top, adding a distinctly modernist touch to the overall form
This is a great example of Polish functional design from the Polish People’s Republic era — both practical and visually appealing.

The sideboard features

• two spacious drawers in the central section

• sliding doors on either side with removable shelves behind them

• a niche with black sliding glass doors, ideal for storing vinyl records or audio equipment

The piece has undergone full restoration, including structural repairs and refinishing of all surfaces
